Bill’s work as Deputy Supervisor of Red Hook and Chairman of the Intermunicipal Task Force created a model for the kind of cross-partisan cooperation this Town needs to get things done. His team crafted the Centers and Greenspaces Plan, a comprehensive effort to protect our town from suburban sprawl, promote economic development in the villages, protect farmlands and keep taxes in check.

Born and raised on a farm in Red Hook, Bill O’Neill has been involved in public service his entire life. After serving with the FBI, Bill worked for 31 years as assistant district attorney for Dutchess County including 18 years as Chief Assistant DA. In addition to serving on the Town Board, he practices law with O’Neill and Burke.
